I am really excited by the response we’ve had so far to the Brothers Advantage Program. Our regular members are clearly enjoying the benefits of the easier access, faster rewards and bigger discounts on offer. Even brand new members are taking advantage of the instant 10% discount they receive on food and beverages in greater numbers than before.

After a successful Summer Series of weekly promotions we’ve decided to keep them all running for the time being. Off-Peak Power Points will still be in effect seven days a week between 10am and 12pm. You can still Flip our attendant for cash on Monday and Tuesday evenings. The biggest weekly raffle in town isn’t going anywhere. And, you can keep playing Bombardier on Sundays. We have, however, made a couple of slight tweaks. But we think you’ll like them.

Our Weekday Waffel each Monday to Friday at 2.30pm will continue to offer ten fantastic prizes consisting of meat trays, fruit and vegetable baskets, alcoholic beverages and delicious bakery treats. You can still get free tickets when you spend $10 or more at the Brasserie or when you collect $200 or more on the gaming floor before 2pm. The tweak we’ve made is now there will be an eleventh draw for $100 cash.

And we’re giving you even more chances to win the Members Draw each week with an extra jackpot draw added at 7pm. Now you will have four chances to win a minimum $5,000 every Thursday and Friday night between 7pm and 10pm just for being here. These Jackpot Draws will continue to be followed by consolation draws of $500 each at 10.30pm and 11pm so make sure you are using your membership card to generate entries.

Speaking of using your card to generate entries, our Major Promotion drawn on the 30th of April is another beauty! In The Car or The Cash our major prize winner will have the choice of one of three stunning vehicles valued at up to $27,620 or they can take the $15,000 cash. If you want a closer look to help you make up your mind, head down to Blue Ribbon Motors in Yamanto and ask for a test drive.

And when that one is over we’re bringing back Choose Your Own Adventure with entries commencing in May. Just like last year, the major prize will be a $15,000 holiday to pretty much wherever you want to go. You could take the family for a tour of American Theme Parks, or take a loved one to see the Romantic Capitals of Europe. Maybe you would go on an African Safari? It’s entirely up to you.

There’s also a lot happening in entertainment during autumn. With our Morning Melodies on Thursdays, our Friday and Saturday night acts in both the O Bar and the Sports Bar, the Sunday arvo Rock n Roll and evening MusiQue jam sessions, our resident illusionist on Thursday evenings and our Senior Sessions on the first Tuesday of the month, there has never been more free entertainment on offer.

As for feature acts, the 17th of March is St Patricks Day and The Life of Reilly Band are back again this year to present a mix of traditional and popular singalong Irish songs together with poems and silly stories. They’re also bringing special guests the Watkins Academy of Irish Dance. The first performance starts at 11am and then they return in the evening for a second show at 6pm.

On the 7th of April we have a special school holidays treat for the kids. The Mime & Magic Show is a comedy magic act for all ages featuring mime artist Peter Wilson and our very own resident Illusionist Josh Norbido. This 90 minute show starts at 4pm. It’s free but we still need you to book as seats are limited. Contact reception for a ticket.

Then Josh returns at 7pm for his full stage show that he has performed across Australia and around the world. You’ve seen him do his up close illusions each Thursday, but you haven’t seen this. Sit back and witness astonishing magic, manipulation of the mind, comical audience participation and a spell binding conclusion in this two hour production! Tickets are only $15 and available from reception or online.

We also have another special treat for members in April. New York Singer-songwriter Mike Scala and his band will be calling in to Brothers while touring his new album. Mike has worked with artists such as The John Butler Trio, Imagine Dragons and One Republic. Expect a night of high energy, interactive Acoustic Rock/Pop. You can catch this free show in the O Bar from 8pm on Thursday the 28th of April.

Then in May for Mothers Day, we’ve got the Rod Stewart Show featuring Shaun Marshall. Shaun is one of the UK’s most exciting vocal talents and is bringing his electric tribute to this legendary superstar to Australia for the first time. The show covers the forty-plus year career of this renowned artist and is full of instantly recognisable hits such as Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Hot Legs, The First Cut Is The Deepest and so many more! Tickets are only $25 for the show on its own or you can make a day of it and bundle tickets with the Tryline Mothers Day Special.

There really is a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Continue to experience the Brothers Advantage and I look forward to seeing you around the club.
