On September 21st, 2024, Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich celebrated 50 years of service to the community with a spectacular free event, the Brothers Big Bash 50 Year Celebration. This community event brought together over 5,500 attendees for a day filled with joy, excitement and free entertainment for the whole community to enjoy.
The celebration was not only about marking the exceptional milestone of 50 years as a club but about recognising, thanking and appreciating our community who have been with us on this journey. With overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, the success of the day was measured not only in attendance numbers but also in the smiles we saw on the faces of our guests.
One happy attendee commented “I just wanted to say a big thank you for the event you put on over the weekend. For a family on a tight budget, it was great to have so much free entertainment.” Another attendee noted, “Everyone I met was saying how it was so well organised and a fantastic day, especially for the kids. The organisers, staff, and even security were fantastic.”
The Brothers Big Bash featured a huge variety of free family friendly activities, including a petting zoo, amusement rides, face painting, and the highly anticipated Bluey Live Interactive Experience. Brothers also took this opportunity to proudly showcase a variety of local music acts throughout the afternoon, providing local artists with a platform to perform for the thousands of attendees and highlight Ipswich’s incredible talent. Then, as the day transitioned to evening, families enjoyed incredible performances from The Koi Boys, and iconic headline act – Rogue Traders, capped off by an impressive fireworks display.
At Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich, we are proud to have hosted an event that reflects the spirit of our community and create an atmosphere that was enjoyable, safe, and truly memorable for everyone involved. We thank everyone who joined us in celebrating this incredible milestone and are excited to proudly carry our community commitment into the future with us.
